My little neighbor
This flycatcher is a permanent resident of the neighborhood and I am extremely happy about it.
I think she is a girl. She is a keen insect hunter. I hear her every morning making her characteristic sharp voices and immediately grab the camera to find the right window of the house from where I have a better view of her.
Swallow fledlings
One day I went to take pictures across a wetland and expected to find larger birds, such as egrets. However, I found a large number of river turtles and baby swallows. The fledglings sat on branches above the river, completely fluffed, and every time the adults flew over them, they opened their mouths to the fullest begging for a tasty snack.
